Daffodils ( Outstanding )
“Daffodils “ ( آبی نرگس کے پھول )( Outstanding )
Walter
Hagen says :
“ You are only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry
. Don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way . ”
The poem, "Daffodils” has
been written by William Wordsworth. He is known as the poet of nature
because of his love for it. Most of his poems describe ( بیان کرنا )nature and its
beauty.
As John Keats says:
“A thing of beauty is a joy forever.” ایک خوبصورت چیز ہمیشہ کے لئے
خوشی کا باعث ہوتی ہے۔
In this poem, Wordsworth shares his
exciting پرجوش experience of enjoying the sight of
beautiful Daffodils’ flowers. Once he was walking in the countryside (دیہات). He suddenly(اچانک) came across a large number of
daffodils growing along(ساتھ) the bank(کنارا) of
a lake(جھیل) .
The flowers were dancing in the cool wind.
As Robert Loveman says:
“It is not raining rain to me, its raining daffodils.”
The lovely sight of golden daffodils
delighted (خوش کرنا) the poet a lot and put an everlasting (ہمیشہ رہنے والا
)impression (تاثر) on his mind. As a result, whenever, he is alone (اکیلا
) and in a sad mood, the same sight comes into his imagination, his
heart fills (بھر جانا ) with pleasure( خوشی ) .
“ Shed no tear ! O shed no tear !
The flowers will bloom another
year.
